CO2 Laser Skin Resurfacing

Our office uses the Syneron-Candela CO2RE laser to deliver small columns of fractionated energy to create tiny wounds in the skin. These wounds trigger the healing process and the formation of new collagen and elastin. This healing process results in a decrease in the appearance of age spots, pores, fine lines and wrinkles, and an improvement in overall skin tone. Full results are seen in six to twelve months. Fractional CO2 laser resurfacing requires approximately a week of downtime for recovery, and strict sun protection before and after the procedure.
